Itinerary Day by day details

Day 1 - Colombo / Kandy
On your arrival to Sri Lanka you will be met by our Representative at the Airport & Start your tour with a restful. Proceed to Muneeshwaram Hindu Kovil, Chilaw.Thereafter proceed to Mannavari Temple. Thereafter proceed to Kandy, En route visit to Hiripitiya(Dolukandha). Overnight stay at hotel .


Munneswaram Temple: Lord Rama after his victorious battle left for Ayodhya in one of KingRavana’s vimana’s.

Manavari: 1st Lingam install and prayed by Lord Rama.

Hiripitiya (Dolukandha):
One of the part from the Sunjeewani Vanaya bought Lord Hanuman.


 Day 2 - Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast city tour of Kandy. Proceed to Dunvila, Laggala, Yehangala, Seetha Kotuwa, Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in  Nuwara Eliya.


Dunvila: The Place from where Lord Rama Fired the Brahmastharam of King Ravan. Witch eventually him Dunu mean Arro, Vila mean Lake.


Yehangala: King Ravan's Body after his death was kept upon this rock, Yahangala meaning Bed Rock.

Seetha Kotuwa: Sitadevi was kept in this palace until she moved to Asoka Vatika.


Day 3 - Nuwara Eliya Visit
After breakfast proceed to Ramboda, En route visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple ,Ramboda. There after proceed to Mani Kattuther at Labukalle Estate.Visit the Gayathri Pe(e)dam. Overnight stay at hotel.

Mani Kattuer: It's believed that after meeting Sita devi, Lord Hanuman rested on this hill top on his way back to Lord Rama with the happy news.

Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple:
It's believed that Lord Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi from these hills of Ramboda.

Gayathri Pedam: It's believed to be the place from where King Ravana's son Meghanath propitiated Lord Shiva penance and poojas and in turn was granted super natural powers by lord Shiva.


Day 4 -Nuwara Eliya/Bandarawala
After breakfast proceed to Bandarawela, En route visit Seetha Amman Temple (Ashoka Vatika), Seetha Eliya. Thereafter proceed to Divurumpola Isthirppura. Overnight Stay at hotel.

Seetha Amman Temple : The stream that runs from the hill, catered to the needs of Sitadevi during her stay at Ashoka Vatika. She is said to have bathed in this stream. Now there is a temple erected for Lord Rama, Sitadevi, Luxshmana and Hanuman by the side of this stream. It's interesting to note that foot prints akin to Lord Hamunams are found by this river-Some small and some large..

Divurumpola Yudaganawa: Divurumpola means a place where one takes an oath. Sitadevi, after being liberated from King Ravana was subjected to a test to prove here chastity by offering herself to the fire. However she came unscathed and proved her holiness during this ritual at this place. It's Said that believed particular piece of land can bear any vegetation as this Served as the battle field and at Borne the Brunt of Disruption.


Day 5 -Bandarawala/Kataragama (Murugan Temple)

After breakfast proceed to Kataragama, on the way visiting Ravana falls, Ravana Cave Yudaganawa. Thereafter proceed to Kataragama and check in at the hotel.

Yudaganawa: It's said that believed particular piece of land can bear any vegetation as this served as the Battle field and at Borne the Brunt of Disruption.

Kataragama: Dedicated to God Skanda (Murugan) the God of Love and War. It is believed that this Devala was started in the 2nd Century B.C. by King Dutugemunu (167-137 B.C). Today Kataragama is a place of worship for Buddhists, Hindus and some Muslims. This is a very popular place of pilgrimage for south Indian Hindus as it is said that God Kataragama came from India, married a Jungle Girl from Sri Lanka and lived here. When his Indian wife came is search of him he refused to go back. The legend has it that all of them lived here happily thereafter. There are separate shrines for the two wives, Tevani Amman Kovil for the Indian wife and Valli Amman Kovil for the Sri Lankan wife.


Day 6 - Kataragama to Colombo
After breakfast visit to Kataragama Temple to worship. Thereafter precede Ussangoda. There after proceed to Colombo, En route visit Rumasela, Galle. Thereafter proceed to Seenigama Tempel. Thereafter proceed to Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple. Overnight stay at hotel. 

Ussangoda:
After meeting Sitadevi, Lord Hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. During the events that unfolded Lord Hanuman's tail was set on fire by the rakshasa's, and Lord Hanuman in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana's empire. Ussanggoda is on the torched areas, which is said to have been an airport used by King.

Seenigama Temple: The southernmost part of Sri Lanka is called Dondra and further up to words the west arrives at Seenigama Hikkaduwa. This is said to be the place from where Sugreeva, King of the Vanara's (monkeys) started his onslaught on King Ravana's forces.

Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple:  A temple dedicated to Anjaneyar temple in Sri Lanka. The only temple in the world to have a chariot for Anjaneyar.


Day 7 – Departure: After breakfast transfer to the airport for Catch departure flight.
