Khagbusundi Saravor (tilicho Lake) tour begins after your arrival in Kathmandu by sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Early morning we will charter a helicopter and fly towards Tilicho. During the flight, you can witness white snowcapped peaks underneath you. Similarly, the colorful sight of rhododendron forest and natural beauty will add more charm to your trip.
During the trip, we can see the spectacular view of the icy ramparts of Annapurna and Tilciho peak, carved by glaciers which plunge down to the lake itself. The shores of this idyllic, crystal-clear lake, dotted with wildflowers in spring, are ideal for camping. Access to Tilicho is also possible from Jomsom, in Mustang. The route from Jomsom, consists of a rugged two-day trek, through misty meadows, rugged terrain, and finally the Mesogondala Pass. At present, a track is being planned to connect Mustang to Manang via the same way.
The pilgrims believe that this is the lake that is referred to in the Ramayana where the crow recited the Ramayana to Garuda and where Shiva found solace after the death of Sati. Organisers of the Tilicho Lake Pilgrimage Tour 2001 say they cannot prove it scientifically, but they are convinced this is indeed the Khag Bhusundi Sarovar mentioned in the Ramayana. The Ramayana gives some clues and says the Annapurna range and north of the Nilgiri range. Tilicho is not a prohibited area but by virtue of its remoteness and altitude, few tourists take off the popular Annapurna circuit to hike up to the lake. But it does lie within the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP)

Itinerary Day by day details
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Evening Darshan of Pashupatinath temple and Bagmati sandhya Arati. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02: Early in the morning fly from Kathmandu to Tilicho Lake via Manang or Mustang by chartered helicopter. In Kagbhusundi Sarovar if possible take holy bath or do Sinchan by holy lake water. Then we do Japa, Aradhana, Puja and return back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
